Calista Primary School (PS) is seeking to appoint a dedicated Teacher - Primary to join their skilled team. The successful applicant will ideally possess a strong work ethic, be committed, have a deep knowledge of curriculum and highly effective pedagogical practices. About the role: The successful applicant will ideally exhibit an exceptionally high level of collaborative practice and possess the skills to enable effective engagement of students. We are a Positive Behaviour School (PBS) and have significantly altered the behaviour and culture of our school in recent years. A sound understanding of this type of student management would be highly desirable. When joining our committed staff, you will be proactive in participating in whole school and year level planning which is informed by data interrogation and teacher judgement. We currently use the Elastik Platform to assist staff in this process. We have skilled curriculum leaders who assist in the provision of curriculum across the school and utilise Sounds Write, Sound Waves, Seven Steps to Writing Success, Heggerty and are currently in the process of introducing Top Ten Maths to our school.
