Float Legal Secretary — Sydney CBD, Sydney

The Opportunity We are currently seeking an adept float legal secretary to join the team on a full-time basis. This pivotal role, based in our Sydney CBD office, offers the unique opportunity to provide support to various practice groups both in person across our Sydney offices and remotely to our national offices as required. Key responsibilities include: Providing daily reception coverage; Managing diaries; Maintaining files; Preparing legal documents; Handling billing and client reporting; Opening and closing files; and Performing general administrative tasks. Skills and Experience To excel in this role, you must possess substantial experience in an administrative role: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a legal secretary or in a support role; Previous exposure to float positions (preferred but not essential); Experience supporting fee earners at all levels; Familiarity with iManage and Aderant (preferred but not essential); Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently; Outstanding client service skills; The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team; Proficiency in drafting correspondence and documents; and Strong Microsoft Office skills This firm will provide a stimulating, inclusive, and flexible working environment where you will collaborate with a talented team.
