The doctors in the practice have an interest in research, are guest speaks at international and national conferences. With a strong patient following, a vacancy for a medical administrator has become available. The Specialist Medical Practice delivers high end service with a modern touch. The medical administrator will play a crucial part in maintaining a level of service excellence the clinic is proud of. Purpose and Goal of Position: The Medical Receptionist/Secretary serves as the face of the Private Practice, providing efficient administrative and reception support while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders. The goal is to ensure smooth clinic operations, uphold patient care standards, and contribute to a positive practice experience. Duties Provide exceptional and caring service to all patient and visitors Maintain a professional reception area Schedule and monitor appointments Ensure the reception area and cleanliness and readiness to brand standards Maintain patient records Perform scanning, filing and printing tasks Assistance in sending correspondence letters to GP and other health care professionals when required Process patient billings. Prepare information packages for patients Use Genie Software System General Expectations: Demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills. Adhere to tasks assigned by the Executive Assistant Technical Skills and Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Excellent organisation and time management abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with modern IT systems. Diplomatic handling of demanding situations.
