Construction Project Manager — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with EPC and utility-scale Solar experience. What we're looking for: Collar are seeking a Construction Project Manager with EPC/Construction background and preferably solar experience. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Responsible for the management and operations of the project, the delivery of the works in accordance with the EPC Contract and the representation of the project to the subcontractors; and authorized to make day to day operating decisions. Assist the Project Manager with the successful delivery of the project and efficient management of the project’s affairs. Manage all upstream and downstream contract administration activities, the procurement function and will oversee all legal and contractual claims, commitments and related activities under the supervision of the Project Manager. Develop the procurement strategy in cooperation with procurement manager and planner. Support project manager to prepare monthly financial reporting in cooperation with the cost controller and planner. Lead the monthly and weekly meetings with subcontractors. Support the PM to prepare the weekly and monthly reports as per the EPC contract reporting. Controlling whether machinery is suitable and sufficient to meet the required performance levels for the project. Develop the design and construction strategy. Liaise with key personnel to understand safety and quality issues, human and plant resourcing requirements and environmental matters in relation to the site and the works and report to the project director on such matters. Skills, experience and qualifications: As the successful applicant you should have the following experience and attributes: Approximately 4 years post-graduation experience in either construction or project management. Demonstrable understanding of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and utility-scale Solar projects. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred. Why Collar Group?
