Customer Service Officer — Warringah Area, Northern Beaches

Established over 35 years ago, and with over 50 stores nationwide, whether you are a professional photographer, or someone who loves taking photos, they are your go-to for anything photography or camera related. They are now looking for an enthusiastic customer service professional and admin all-rounder to join their team as the first point of contact for customers and clients. The Role The Customer Service Officer role is varied and you will be responsible for reception, administrative tasks and sales support. As the first point of contact for anyone contacting the business, the Customer Service Officer provides outstanding customer service and professionalism at all times, and is solutions focussed. Working for a fast-paced retailer, you will develop excellent working relationships with customers, retailers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure that processes run smoothly and to deadlines. Duties Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, retailers and suppliers. Complete general office and administrative duties. Answer, manage and forward telephone calls. Respond to emails from customers, suppliers and stores, redirecting emails to the appropriate people as required. Respond to customer live chats, manage and respond to customer queries and complaints via the website. Resolve member and customer concerns. Liaise with suppliers for the return of faulty products. Process return claims and liaise with the finance team to assist with the processing of credits. Assist the sales team as required. Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a similar position. Excellent customer service and a genuine willingness to help others. Demonstrated administrative and time management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Professional presentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, complete tasks from start to finish and meet deadlines. Ability to use the Microsoft office suite. A positive, solutions-focussed attitude and an enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills. An understanding of retail or warehouse operations would be highly regarded.
