The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach across Year 7 to Year 12 Through DSC and within partnership with New North Education Initiative (NNEI) schools, Mathematics teaching opportunities may encompass Specialist, Methods, Applications and Essentials as part of whole school delivery. The successful applicant should have a focus on a whole school approach to teaching and learning with a commitment to high expectations for all students in line with DSC pedagogy framework. They should also be committed to building a positive culture of success where students strive to achieve their personal best. The successful applicant will ideally work to improve student performance in literacy and numeracy, and work with students to provide appropriate intervention and support for improvement. The successful applicant will ideally be well-researched and experienced in innovative teaching and learning. They should have a high level of communication and collaboration, using a whole school approach to improve student outcomes.
