About the role: Reporting to the Australian General Counsel, your role will be varied and include: corporate/commercial work - various contracts/procurement work, confidentiality agreements, joint venture agreements, M&A, corporate advisory etc; due diligence on new sites or site redevelopment; managing and advising on corporate governance and associated compliance activities; advising on employment and industrial relations matters (with support from external legal advisors); ad hoc legal advice, presentations and training to the business; and visits to site on an as required, irregular basis. Skills/Experience: To be considered for this role you will have: 4-10 years' PAE in corporate, commercial or energy and resources; exposure in-house to mining/resources, manufacturing or heavy industry will be highly regarded; some exposure to in-house is preferred including secondment experience; a commercial approach and good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
