Working every Friday (9:00am–5:00pm) Capacity to increase to Full Time hours up to 8 weeks per year Located at Corporate Reception (Windsor) We have a wonderful opportunity for a friendly, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Reception team located within the Hannah & Daryl Cohen Family Building based in Windsor. In this role you will be instrumental in ensuring all the reception and administration functions are managed efficiently and effectively every Friday . This is a part time position, working 1 day per week every Friday (9:00am to 5:00pm) with the capacity to increase to Full Time, possibly 8 weeks per year. The key objective of the position is to provide strong customer service, both in person and via the telephone. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks: Answering and redirecting phone calls Greeting residents and their families Signing in all staff and visitors to the facility Inbox management, handling general enquiries Data entry and providing general administration support to the office General housekeeping of the reception area and Covid testing station during shift changes Ordering consumables and stationery Accepting mail and distributing to the appropriate department Monitoring cameras and calls via the security systems to direct deliveries and visitors What you'll need to succeed You must have a warm and friendly phone manner, with computer literacy skills to operate a switchboard, and proficient in using Microsoft Office packages. You will show loyalty and a high level of confidentiality, you are patient and kind when dealing with resident and visitor requests and show initiative to assist where you can. You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You will be the face of our residential home and you will demonstrate our values in all your interactions. Desirable Understanding of the Jewish culture and community, or willingness to develop understanding.
