Be the primary point of contact in a supervisory Customer Service role working for this international freight forwarder Australian owned freight forwarder, located in Botany is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to be responsible for assisting the NSW Sales & Ops Manager in the performance of the customer service department. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop service procedures, policies and standards Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities Investigate customer issues/problems and create mutually beneficial solutions Keep on top of and provide training for new company products and services Communicate with customers via telephone, email and letter Handle issues that are escalated from members of the customer service team Assist in hiring, training of customer service team Support Corporate strategy, goals and KPI’s – Establish and achieve department goals and KPI’s – to be aligned to Corporate strategy Maintain a safe and secure working environment Role Requirements: Preferred 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role Good understanding of the use of Cargo Wise Familiar with CRM systems and practices Excellent communication and presentation skills Thorough understanding of communication techniques and practices Proven self-starter with initiative and motivation Prior experience working with / across other departments Good time management skills Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Ability to multi-task Patience and ability to work under stress Positive Attitude This company offers a challenging, supportive & rewarding team environment that gives you the opportunity to develop, make a contribution and be part of a growing business.
