Warehouse Manager — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

Full training will be provided, an exciting and varied role where no 2 days are the same We are seeking to appoint a mature, energetic and self-driven Warehouse Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a person looking for career progression, and who has a strong desire to contribute to the success of the smooth operation of all Warehouse functions. This role is hands on, overseeing freight control of all goods in and out of our depot, and requires you to be proactive and have a participative leadership style to ensure first class customer service achieving both profitability and efficiency of the Warehouse operation. As a member of the leadership team, this role will be instrumental in leading, developing, training and monitoring team performance. About the Role Ensuring the coordination of all loadings and un-loadings of goods in the warehouse are correctly managed, to ensure maximum productivity and the achievement of customer’s expectations Ensuring all allocated warehouse activities are correctly executed Ensuring an effective traffic management plan is in place and communicated to all parts of the business Providing daily activity and productivity reports to management Ensuring monthly compliance audits are conducted in relation to depot and warehouse Ensuring accurate stock controls Ensuring safe forklift operations Adhering and monitoring of relevant WHS regulations About You Industry experience desirable Self-motivation An ability to think laterally and problem solve logistical conflicts Excellent communication skills Intermediate computer skills A bright disposition with a “can do” attitude Exceptional time management skills Forklift licence essential Experience in conventional and reach forklifts What's in it for you?
