About the role: The position is responsible for the development of digital and print design for Powercor, CitiPower and United Energy and the day-to-day execution of the brand guidelines and visual identity. This is a new role within the Marketing and Communication team. This standalone design position will work with stakeholders from the business to perform all tasks related to the design process, from briefing, to production management,to executing designs. What you'll deliver: Create and execute high quality, consistent and cohesive digital and print collateral to promote CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy, including social media graphics,, infographics, marketing collateral, fact sheets, corporate reporting documents, and publications. Coordinate with internal business partners to manage requests and execute requirements, including briefing, design, review and revision, and approvals. Develop and manage the process for graphic design work to ensure all jobs are delivered on time and on budget. Manage relationships with external graphic design agencies, including briefing on brand guidelines and style guide, managing workloads as required and ensuring the quality of all design briefs. Act as brand custodian, proactively guiding the individual and combined visual identity for the three brands, to ensure they are reflected in all design work and maintain and enhance the business' brand and reputation. Develop processes and templates to support staff and ensure to brand guidelines and style guide are followed across the organisation. Develop visual design strategies and concept plans to guide multi-platform marketing approach across our channels. Perform a role as a subject matter expert in graphic design to support the delivery of services targeting a range of customer segments. To succeed in the role, you'll have: Relevant tertiary degree and/or other qualification or credential in design, or related discipline. Minimum of five years' experience in the design industry. Experience and a record of achievement in graphic design and production management gained in corporate, government and/or consulting organisations. Well-developed organisational and project management skills with a proven ability to plan and prioritise effectively, navigate ambiguity, negotiate outcomes, and work with autonomy and accountability to achieve desired outcomes. User-centric approach to digital and print design with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual design. A deep understanding of the principles and strategies required to help execute successful brand and visual design strategies and achieve organisational objectives. Expert knowledge in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite essential) as well as other design and content software.
