Exciting Opportunity at Acciona - East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Plant Fixed-Term Role until End of Year. Join Acciona and take on a pivotal role as a Construction Manager at our East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Plant project. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering works, ensuring project delivery from inception to completion while meeting client and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety procedures, with a focus on integrating resources effectively. Oversee project safety plans and drive commitment to quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project finances, including budgets, profit/loss forecasting, and financial performance monitoring. Coordinate project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities. Lead and supervise project resources, ensuring effective teamwork and adherence to contract requirements. Implement project procurement programs and manage subcontractor performance. Collaborate with design managers to oversee project design and program development. Foster open communication and positive team dynamics among project personnel and subcontractors. Required Skills and Competencies Skills and Competencies: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements in construction/engineering. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in a construction/engineering environment. Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage projects effectively.
