We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a leader in engineering solutions, who is looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Mechanical Engineer As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing special purpose machines, elements, and robot tooling. You will optimize the capacity and capability of facilities and deliver innovative machinery to diversify and grow the business. Under the guidance of the Engineering Project Manager, you will design, develop, and maintain high-technology engineering systems. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Design machinery using CAD software and consult with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and mechanical robustness. Generate assembly and component drawings for fabrication purposes, including bills of materials. Assist with technical reports and documentation for equipment maintenance and operation. Develop and build prototypes, conducting tests to measure their functionality. Analyze existing procedures and electro-mechanical devices, proposing improvements. Maintain relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines. Collaborate with shop floor staff to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Assist in the development of Solidworks library management and drawing templates. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. Proficient IT skills, including CAD software. Previous experience in Manufacturing or Mining or Mechantronics Effective people management skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
