Summary: We are looking for a passionate Hospitality Professional to join the Polperro Winery Group Leadership team. Either in a full time capacity or Casual 35 hours pw Bar & Restaurant managerial opportunities exist within the Polperro Winery Group. This roles primary home is based at our Many Little Bar & Dining venue in the heart of Red Hill , Mornington Peninsula , however will work across Polperro Winery when leadership support is needed. This unique opportunity offers a great works life balance with a 4 day working week ( Thursday & Friday evenings & Saturday & Sunday lunch & dinner ) and enormous career potential for the right candidate writhing the broader Polperro Winery Group. Many Little is a Chefs hat ( 2022 & 2023) award winning bar and dinning room , with the unique balance of being the much loved locals & Hospo hang out and equally stands alone as a popular destination restaurant. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team, and ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders Ensure that all guests receive exceptional customer service and that their needs are met promptly Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling Train and develop staff members to ensure that they are knowledgeable about the menu, service standards, and company policies Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve the restaurant's performance and profitability Qualifications: Experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
