Company and Role Insights: Our is a full end to end landscaping company offering design, construction and maintenance working across both residential and commercial sectors. As the Design Manager you will lead the team and project from end to end from client briefing to construction and then have the joy of even ensuring the maintenance team maintains your vision. They work on high end boutique residential designs and large scale commercial projects so you will get exposure and joy from working on a large range of projects and have the ability to be able to work directly with the design and then ongoing maintenance team to ensure the design vision is bought to life and maintained throughout the life of the design. Landscape Design Manager You will lead the inhouse design team mentoring and two landscape designers and the entire design function of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about residential landscape design to be able to setup and also ensure that their designs are bought to life. You will get to work on both high end projects as well as able to work on commercial projects too. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly driven and passionate about what they do and loves leading others and delivering great outcomes for clients. You will be involve in all facets of the design team including working with clients directly, leading the team and overseeing the business elements of the design team including writing fees, project planning, resourcing and forecasting. About you: You may be an established Design Manager in a Landscape company Senior Landscape Designer or Architect looking to be able to shape things and drive the design outcomes. This is a great opportunity to take something that is established but to keep growing it as our client expects to continue to grow the design team over the coming year and has a steady amount of continuous inbound demand from clients. There is an opportunity to grow the design function and brand and be part of expanding the design reputation further. Ideally, you will have: 5 years in Landscape Design either in a design practice or building or landscaping team Relevant qualifications in Landscape Design or Architecture Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover Enjoy building relationships with clients, consultants, stakeholders, suppliers and your team.
