Our client is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join their hospital on a locum basis in regional Victoria Acute hospital experience required Our client is offering a full-time locum with flexible length durations, with a preference for 10 weeks or more For our interstate candidates, our client offers flight reimbursement, and local accommodation near the hospital site. This regional hospital takes pride in their diverse and talented Allied Health team, where over 30 dedicated professionals, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work, and Allied Health Assistants, work together to provide exceptional patient care. As a Locum Social Worker , you'll play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Your impact goes beyond the hospital walls, as you help individuals and families on their journey to well-being. Your Key Responsibilities Include Must have VCAT / ACAS assessment experience within Aged Care Clinical Excellence: Deliver client-centered assessment and interventions, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and be the expert when needed. Smooth Transitions: Ensure patients receive seamless care within and outside of the hospital, working closely with community agencies. Evidence-Based Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and ensure that your work is based on the best available evidence. Time Management: Efficiently balance clinical duties with non-clinical responsibilities, meeting all deadlines and requirements. We Are Looking For Relevant tertiary qualification Social Work and registration with AASW Extensive experience with demonstrated knowledge, skills and appropriate experience as SW - Acute experience hospital preferred. Strong interpersonal skills encompassing excellent communication. Excellent time management skills and flexibility in handling diverse responsibilities. A background in participating in Quality Improvement and research activities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain positive professional relationships. Experience in clinical supervision of students will be advantageous.
