Working alongside a clinician you will be safely transporting patients between facilities, SMA are excited to recruit for a full time patient transport driver to work out of our Taren Point base in Sydney. Your new role: You will be responsible for safely transporting patients between appointments, hospitals and other facilities Working as a team with the clinician you will assist patients with mobility issues including using stretchers Rotating rosters involving early mornings and late evenings. Majority of shifts are 8 hours and weekdays only Option for additional first aid work at events when it comes up About you: You have a positive attitude and thrive working in team environment You consider yourself excellent at communicating You are determined to make a positive impact in the health industry and have an ongoing commitment to maintaining policy and procedure You are able to operate autonomously and are reliable What you need: Unrestricted drivers license with a clean driving record. Light rigid license is highly desirable Ideally you hold a certificate 3 in NEPT however this is not essential to be successful for the role Current First Aid and CPR certification National police check dated within 6 months Working with children check for paid employment Mask Fit certificate Full category A immunisation history including 3x COVID and annual influenza Why SMA??
