We are currently seeking experienced Interstate MC Drivers to join our Melbourne Team operating B double combination. This is secure, stable work that will suit professional drivers looking to drive new, modern equipment for an employer open to understanding and agreeing on work patterns that best suit your lifestyle and personal circumstances We are currently seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our operations and fulfill MC route; • Melbourne - Nhill - Melbourne Shuttle Based out of Hoppers Crossing The driver would pick up from Dandenong daily (same shed every day) approx. 3.00pm-5.00pm and travel to Nhill for changeover. The job would be Monday to Friday, there is no delivery on way back into Melbourne. The Driver will be paid for the travel out to Dandenong from Hoppers Crossing and then to Nhill. Duties will include but not limited to: • Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty. • Loading and unloading (Melbourne end). • Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines. • Refueling and cleanliness of allocated equipment. • Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays. To be successful in the role you will possess the following attributes: • Hold a current unrestricted MC license . • At least 2 years MC linehaul experience . • Reliable and enthusiastic. • Clear communicator and must be punctual. • Strong understanding and commitment to safety. • Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation would be an advantage. • Training and induction will be provided. To be eligible for full time employment you will be required to meet the following employment criteria which will include but not be limited to; • Federal Police Check (Not older than 12 months) • Driver Demerit Point Report (Not older than 6 months / must submit with the application form) • Full Medical and functional testing. • Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
