As the Technical lead for SAP: BASIS (System Administration) and Integration Services of the ERP Technologies Section, to be successful - as this is a technical lead position, you will manage the two teams BASIS & Integration, and you should have similar experience as Senior Technical lead on SAP BASIS and Integration on an SAP ECC systems and SAP Integration using SCPI. The role requires a knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP BTP systems, detailed understanding of enterprise architecture principles, including system design, integration patterns, and technical infrastructure. You will: • Be a senior lead responsible for providing expert strategic and technical advice, within the framework across SAP products and solutions. • Foster and maintain our relationships with Business teams, ITD teams and other Government agencies. • Provide technical input, awareness and be an active team member to the Department's project team on the ERP Readiness - Corporate Services Transformation program. • Work collaboratively with business areas on providing SAP system solutions on the financial management and human capital management operations. • Provide support for the interfaces between policy systems and the SAP (Finance and HR) systems, ensuring any failures and/or mapping issues are promptly addressed. • Work directly with all relevant BAU and Project team members to implement functions across the SAP application footprint and administer and maintain the SAP technical landscape including: o System Installations o Landscape Architecture o System Patching and Upgrades o Database and Operating System migrations o System Administration o Performance fine-tuning o Technical Configuration Management - BAU for Level 3 tickets. • Perform and manage: SAP BASIS and Integration functional consultation, including service restorations/options analysis/impact analysis/functional specification and future plans for process/systems enhancements within the SAP application landscape. • Good understanding of SAP Single Sign on (SSO) configuration for SAP ABAP Application server using SNC Kerberos and configuration of Single Sign-On for Process Integration (PI) includes configuration of both directions. SCPI on neo platform and SAP BTP Services: integration and Robotic process automation. • Implement configuration changes in non-production environments; perform unit/functional unit testing of the changes prior to promoting to production via approved transport policies/processes to ensure system integrity. • Provide guidance on SAP System administrator access with the Administration and integration team and or review services to other teams within the support model and when preparing training documentation if required or simple how to guides. • Supporting cutting-edge custom applications and solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). • Understanding of SAP License and Commercial Models/ Metering that is required for enabling new SAP products / Software in the SAP Eco system and work with DTA and ITD procurement services for software purchases and renewals as required. • Manage the connectivity problems like firewalls, open ports, dmz zones, OS issues, etc and other infrastructure changes with ITD Service Operations and infrastructure teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP BTP full stack development and provide technical expertise and guidance to team members. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and exceed their expectations. • Provide technical advice with experience in supporting and maintaining SAP products, platforms, and services. • Guide and mentor, your teams, ensuring that they uphold the standards expected for a critical business system.
