The Sales Reporting and Compliance Officer provides a comprehensive range of administrative and business support services in relation to compliance, particularly in response to obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act). They work across the Mint, to ensure sales activities meet compliance obligations by extracting data and preparing reports for AUSTRAC submission; researching, interpreting and applying relevant legislation; identifying and managing risks; developing and delivering training; and providing other sales compliance support. This role is the perfect opportunity for a motivated person to make a valuable contribution to the Mint's business objectives. The successful applicant is required to work full-time and on-site. The key duties of the position include Extracting data from CRM and MRP systems to prepare compliance reports for AUSTRAC submission. Managing the Mint's AML/CTF Act compliance program and related processes, including maintaining work instructions and documentation. Identifying, mitigating, documenting and reporting on risks that impact compliance obligations. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on complex matters relating to the interpretation and application of legislation and legal obligations. Developing, co-ordinating and delivering training for relevant Mint employees to meet compliance obligations. Monitoring changes to compliance requirements, and researching and providing recommendations on implementation as required.
