The Role As part of the Administrative & Contracts Support Officer role, you will provide customer focused administrative, procurement, human resources, financial and contract management support services to the Infrastructure Planning and Land Services (IP&LS) division. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant experience in an administrative or office management support environment Knowledge and understanding of procurement practices and administrative procedures as they apply to State Public Sector Experience in the preparation of procurement and administration of consultancy contracts for quote and engagement of external services and the payment of invoices Demonstrated ability to use initiative and deal with complex and confidential issues in a discreet and sensitive manner Good communication and interpersonal skills Good organisational skills including the ability to deal with competing demands and work with minimal supervision Sound analytical and problem-solving skills Good computer literacy including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications There is currently one temporary full-time position available until 27 December 2024, with possible extension and/or permanency. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy.
