ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Head of Production & Quality, your role is to be the central point of contact for all aspects around quality assurance and control, while engaging with all internal teams and customers. This role will see you own the quality outcomes of the manufacturing, production, and service delivery processes within the organisation. Primary activities will be as follows. • Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at optimising processes, reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing efficiency. This will also involve implementing lean Six Sigma methodologies, or other improvement to company framework • Work closely with stakeholders from various departments, including production, engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions collaboratively • Management of ISO9001 – ISO14001 certifications • Investigate the root causes of problems or inefficiencies within processes using cause-and-effect diagrams, Pareto charts, or statistical analysis to pinpoint underlying issues • Communicate quality problem findings to key stakeholders and external parties • Act as the primary contact for all aspects relating to Quality for both internal teams and customers SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE To be considered for this position it is critical that you are tertiary qualified and have previously worked as Quality Engineer or Quality Supervisor within a technical, electrical or electronics manufacturing environment, you will have a strong understanding of ISO9001 supporting your skills & experience. You will be able to communicate clearly (both verbal and written) professionally at all levels, enjoy solving the root cause of problems and be structured and systematic in your approach.
