Our Opportunity Due to high demand and extensive growth trajectory, we are looking for a passionate Technical Sales Engineer to join our QLD team. Located in North Mackay, some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to. Understand mechanical scope of work/s and review drawings. Offer technical solutions to our customers mechanical needs. Provide budget and fixed estimates/quotes from technical drawings and specifications. Liaise with customers on quote related queries. Work in a team to assist with key account planning initiatives, including high level negotiations. Assist in high level submission tenders and proposals. Represent NEPEAN at industry & trade events. The Person To be considered for this role you will have: Possess a strong passion for engineering/ technical solutions. Strong experience in a similar role within the engineering, manufacturing, construction or mining industries. Heavy Fabrication and large-scale machining exposure desirable. Tertiary qualifications in either a trade, estimating, project management or engineering is advantageous. Role could suit an experienced tradesperson looking for the next step in their career. Excellent interpersonal skills Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem solving skills. Able to work autonomously and enjoys a team environment. Able to work with strong deadlines.
