Senior Systems Administrator — The Rocks, Sydney

Manage the service delivery, support and proactive maintenance of Bank's IT Infrastructure services and processes. Contribute towards maximising the availability and cyber protections of IT Infrastructure systems by enhancing resilience and recovery capabilities to minimising the impact of incidents. More autonomy, fewer barriers. The key objective of the role is to provide expert services responsible for the delivery of the Bank's projects in relation to planning, designing, building, testing, performance tuning and ensuring operational readiness of the Bank's IT Infrastructure services. The successful candidate will gather requirements for design, development and deployment of a platform or product ensuring adequate resiliency. This position is a two-year fixed term contract. Other key tasks will include: Collaborating with other IT teams including Network and Security. Facilitate the successful delivery of project requirements Deliver the required documentation, reporting and data collection for asset management, audit, standard operations and proactive management of the Bank's end-to-end IT infrastructure services and processes. Continuously improve systems to enhance the user experience, operate efficiently and cost effectively, including maximising automation and orchestration of implementation and ongoing operations Architecture and engineering of Microsoft Office 365 Groups, Teams, providing guidance and deep technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed in an Enterprise environment. The Corporate Services Group is responsible for the effective provision of information technology, workplace (asset management, facilities management, building security, and procurement) and data management services to support the delivery of the Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives. Information Technology Department - responsible for transforming and developing the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives. Your background To be successful in this critical role you will possess; Hands on experience in Exchange online migrations Experience in Microsoft365 Platform Management Experience in Microsoft Defender for Exchange and cloud applications Experience Azure AD- Conditional Access Interest in Cyber Security especially on vulnerability management. 7-10 years of demonstrated IT experience in a service delivery or system administration role. Experience of automation of system administrative tasks especially on software updates. Be proactive in taking initiatives to automate manual tasks. Willingness to maintain, or undertaken provided training to acquire, IT and industry related certifications as products are updated/released.
