Production Administration Assistant — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Production Administration Assistant to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will play a crucial role in the creation, completion, distribution, and management of Purchase Orders and other Production tasks for the Childrenswear & Menswear Apparel. THE ROLE: Raising Purchase Orders monthly for each region and department in line with Production Timelines / Critical Path. Managing post-Purchase Order monthly cut-off activities, including PO checks and reviewing all data for each Purchase Order, and liaising with the planning team regarding any changes. Managing and prioritising all Purchase Order amendments as they occur, including RRP changes, QTY changes, fabric changes, and delivery changes. Uploading barcodes for supplier ordering and managing any updates or changes, resolving internal system errors flagged by reports. Creating monthly Production Schedules. Checking Shipment Samples. Managing Campaign & PR sample requests and following up with Suppliers and internal teams. Assisting with Production Submissions distribution. Filing and Packing Samples. On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 1-2 years’ experience in an Administration Assistant role High attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer literacy skills Competent in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook) Ability to handle fast-paced workload, prioritise and manage time effectively Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure Problem solving skills and initiative A relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred WHY JOIN THE SEED HERITAGE TEAM?
