Sample Administrator — Cloverdale, Belmont Area

Ensuring the safe and efficient running of our contracted laboratory operation and performing a range of analytical tests with minimal supervision. Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to: This role performs the vital task of ensuring all the samples are registered by the end of day and that all the samples received are placed in cue for analysis Sample enrolment in LIMS1 and SOPHIA, working towards "superuser" for these systems. Meet customer expectations with regard to turn around time and quality of analytical results Ensure sample traceability internally and externally Assist with the supply of sampling kits/equipment to customer sites Assist with customer queries and confirm analysis required with clients where required Apply technical knowledge to the appropriate registration parameters within the lab database Maintain consumable stock levels Provide general support to the Operations Manager Qualifications Relevant Technical School qualifications or tertiary studies. Demonstrated experience in handling Petrochemical, Gas or Chemical Products. Proficient computer software literacy. Knowledge in Quality Systems Additional Information WHY WORK FOR SGS?
