About The Role As a Game Day Operator, you are the brains behind the odds that our customers enjoy betting on. You'll use various resources that we make available to you, as well as your own skills to create the most accurate odds. You'll be able to manage these odds throughout their lifecycle generating the best possible experience for our customers. Enjoyment from multi-tasking and problem-solving as well as a keen eye for detail are ideal Sportsbet has a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Sports Trading Team, where you will look after the odds and operational management for a variety of sports including Soccer, Tennis, Golf and eSports among many others. You will be part of a diverse, driven and collaborative team of Traders that aims for operational excellence, playing a key role in delivering our live product to customers. You don't need any prior experience in the industry, as we will provide you with all the training and support you will need to succeed. A willingness to learn and keep organized can go a long way. Responsibilities Include: In time, you will be able to compile your own odds on a range of different sporting events using statistics and trends. For example, determining the price of a tennis player to win a match 3 sets to 1 over an opponent. You will learn how to use our sports models to fluctuate and edit our odds throughout a match depending on what is happening in that game at any given time. You will observe prices and adjust where necessary, taking into consideration athlete news, customer behaviour, industry prices, etc. Our customers are the most important thing to us, keeping them engaged by imagining new markets, ensuring the greatest customer experience throughout our websites and making certain they wager safely are going to be important elements of this role for you.
