About the role The role of a SkyPoint Attendant is to positively engage with our guests and provide service excellence and efficient operations across our Food & Beverage, Events and Guest Services departments. Guest Services provides the first point of contact for our visitors at SkyPoint by welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner; facilitating front entry, processing entry tickets and generating sales. A beaming smile for a warm welcome is essential Once on the observation deck, our Food & Beverage operation provides an all-day dining experience in our Bistro & Bar, whilst our team also maintain a high standard of cleanliness and venue presentation, ensuring an exceptional SkyPoint experience is delivered to our guests. To be considered, you must have: Previous experience within a similar high volume food service or hospitality environment. Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding customer service experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Reliable, self-motivated team player. Fun, positive and radiant disposition. Ability to deliver consistently high standards of service whilst under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment. Experience working with POS Systems and competent with cash handling. Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks. Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. Part time (PT20) employment guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week over a cyclic roster. It is a condition of PT20 employment that you must be available to work a minimum of 5 days within a 7 day work cycle, inclusive of weekends. As a part time team member you will accrue leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis. Part time team members are also given priority to rostered hours. Good availability and flexibility with working hours are essential. Shifts will vary ranging from early mornings, afternoons, late nights, weekends and Public Holidays. Casual employment requires good availability and flexibility across weekends, late nights and Public Holidays.
