Kennards Hire is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Transport Cluster team as a Driver. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in facilitating the seamless transfer of hire equipment between branches and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. This role requires you to; Prioritises safety in every aspect of your role, from loading and securing equipment to delivering and picking up items. Be the face of Kennards Hire by providing outstanding customer service during every interaction. Strengthen relationships with our customers, supporting them in their projects, big or small. Showcase your expertise by instructing and demonstrating the safe use of equipment to customers, ensuring their confidence and satisfaction Conduct daily vehicle inspections to maintain our fleet in top-notch condition. Utilise mobility devices to streamline administrative tasks, making processing deliveries and confirming returns a breeze. Keep meticulous records to track equipment movements, deliveries, and returns with precision. About you A commitment and understanding of safe work practices You thrive on providing exceptional service and building and maintaining positive customer relationships. Your friendly and professional demeanor sets you apart. A valid driver's licence, manual licence is preferred. This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test You have a thirst for knowledge and are eager to participate in ongoing training and development programs. You understand the critical role you play in the broader team. Clear communication, collaboration, and a positive attitude are your tools for success.
