We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join Queensland sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of pumps and mixers to industrial and agricultural customers. This role requires a strong technical background in pumps and fluid dynamics, coupled with excellent sales skills and a customer-focused approach. Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation: Identify and cultivate relationships with industrial and agricultural customers to understand their pumping needs and offer tailored solutions. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our pump products, including features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate their value propositions to customers. Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to customers, including assistance with pump selection, system design, and troubleshooting. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication, site visits, and product demonstrations. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base within the industrial and agricultural sectors. Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales team to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management, providing insights into sales performance and market trends. Safety: Strong commitment to adhere to Quality and WHSE policies and procedures. Qualifications: Technically minded with Engineering or Trade qualifications an advantage. Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the pump industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence customers at all levels. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment. Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites within the assigned territory. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
