Tyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands, and we are in pursuit of a results-driven Internal Sales Consultant to join our Sales team based at our Townsville branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you must be able to work to deadlines, be organised, have a strong passion for sales and be customer centric. Key duties and responsibilities of this role include: Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales and following up on previous inquiries or quotes Responding to all customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, delivery schedules and back orders in a timely manner Receiving inbound calls from both internal and external customers regarding sales or inquiries Accurately processing & keying in sales orders and quotes Providing support and information to the field sales team To be successful in this role, you will have: Excellent rapport building, with proven experience in sales and customer service The skills to up sell and cross sell at every opportunity A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure A friendly phone manner and strong communicator An ability to think on your feet with good attention to detail We operate according to a strong Values system where respect, integrity and honesty are fundamental to everything we do.
