About the role This is a casual role where you will be required to be available across 4 days per week (including 1 day on the weekend). We have day and night shifts available with each shift being 5-10 hours long and weekly hours averaging between 15 - 40hrs per week. Experience is not required for these positions and full training is provided, however, an ability to follow instructions and standard processes is a must. Description Responsibilities Sorting & labeling of parcels and boxes being sent to and from the warehouse Storing/stowing received parcels and boxes throughout the facility Picking parcels and boxes from shelves using an RF scanner (training provided) Organizing and dispatching parcels and boxes that will be sent to the customer Cleaning and organization of the site environment Adhering to safety, quality and production standards Standing and walking for extended periods Lifting and moving products up to 23kg in weight Training Please note you will be required to complete your initial 6-8 weeks of training from Amazon Pinkenba location. Profile Successful applicants will be employed by Adecco to carry out a temporary work assignment to Amazon and will be required to complete background and police check and a drug and alcohol test.
