Civil Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

We are seeking motivated Engineering professionals to join our high performing Water Division and assist on our water infrastructure projects based in our Sydney office. Our projects span the lifecycle of project delivery from feasibility studies through to detailed design packages for construction. About the role: Our Water Group is growing, and we have several terrific opportunities for talented Civil Engineers experienced in delivering water infrastructure solutions. We are looking for multiple Junior to Senior level Civil Engineers to join our NSW based water team. In this position you will play an integral role amongst a diverse group of highly skilled professionals that 'design with community in mind' to deliver program and project excellence for our water clients in both metropolitan, regional, and remote contexts. We have a healthy workload focused on water supply and sewerage schemes with key water authorities in New South Wales, including advanced water recycling facilities and major water filtration plants. You will join a dynamic and skilled team that works on water infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across the APAC region. As a Civil Engineer , you will provide professional engineering skills in the areas of water and wastewater infrastructure along with the following: Perform civil engineering tasks as assigned by the lead engineer which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support our water infrastructure projects. Assist with developing and managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget and schedule. Work collaboratively with our local clients and colleagues across NSW, Australia and the wider Asia pacific business. Partner with a diverse client base from local government, industry and private development. So, what do you need to bring to take your career to the next level? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent. Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded. Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry. Strong technical experience in civil hydraulics, stormwater and drainage, and yard piping in the treatment plant space. Experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks for regional and urban water authorities (highly desirable but not essential). Expertise with dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies. So, what do we offer to enable your next career step?
