Transport Administrator — Pallara, Brisbane

Transport Admin required for our Brisbane Depot to assist with peak times & leave cover About the Company : The Lindsay Group proudly operates an extensive Rural and National Transport and Logistics business across various locations connecting growers, regional communities and businesses with cities and sellers of fresh food across Australia. The Role: Our Brisbane depot has an opportunity for a Transport Administrator with a focus on customer service to join their team on a casual basis. In this casual position, you will gain the opportunity to cross train across the full team to cover peak periods and annual leave. Your main responsibilities will include: Escalation point for key customers Liaising with operational staff to ensure all customer requirements are met Managing freight bookings and time slot requests Debriefing driver paperwork Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Administration and Depot Manager About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Be able to prioritise high volume of work and work in a fast-paced environment Have excellent time management skills, planning and organisational skills Have a positive attitude with the willingness to learn Be a team player with Excellent customer service skills Have a genuine care factor for the needs of the internal and external customer Previous experience in the transport and logistics industry is highly regarded but not essential.
