Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic planning and execution of renewable energy projects, emphasizing the pre-construction phase for optimal project development. Conduct thorough site assessments, feasibility studies, and due diligence to identify ideal project locations. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including engineers, environmental specialists, and legal experts, to navigate and overcome project development challenges. Manage crucial relationships with stakeholders, such as local authorities, landowners, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate project approvals. Negotiate essential agreements, including land leases and easements, crucial for the successful development of renewable energy projects. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project progress and contribute to the overall project roadmap and timelines. Qualifications: Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in renewable energy project development, with a specific focus on pre-construction phases. In-depth knowledge of regulatory processes, environmental impact assessments, and permitting requirements within the Australian context.
