Job opportunity available for a Customer Service Officer in Brendale for an established industry leader - Apply now Smith & Co Recruitment is currently seeking an Administration / Customer Service Officer for our client located in Brendale who is an established leader within the Timber manufacturing and distribution industry. The position is casual full-time offering $34 per hour, the hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, and view to permanency for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: This position primarily involves the processing of customer orders, communicating clearly to customers, providing updates on the availability of product and delivery dates and ensuring accurate invoicing, as well as: Liaising with customers via phone and email Responding to and handling customer enquiries and complaints Providing timely delivery updates to customers Maintaining records of customer interactions and transactions Using of SAP to process incoming customer orders Checking inventory levels to verify that the ordered products are available and managing of any back orders Liaising with internal departments including production and dispatch as required General Administration and Data Entry duties as required Requirements: A minimum of two years experience in Administration Previous Customer Service experience will be desirable but is not essential Previous experience with SAP will be advantageous High level of communication skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills Intermediate computer skills Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment Ability to be proactive and self motivated Ability to work in a fast pace environment Flexibility to adapt to change in priority of tasks Current Drivers Licence Current Forklift Licence will be desirable but is not essential Two work related contactable references If this position sounds like you please apply with a copy of your updated resume.
