Position Overview: My client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating freight forwarding operations. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication. Coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of freight forwarding operations, including booking, tracking, and documentation. Proactively monitor shipments and address any delays or issues, keeping clients informed throughout the process. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistical processes and enhance overall service quality. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions using our CRM system. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients, contributing to revenue growth. Requirements: Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including MS Office and CRM platforms. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
