Based at Dandenong South , Melbourne, Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass, aluminium fencing, balustrading, aluminium screening, shower screens and accessories. Full-time positions are now available for a motivated all-round Warehouse Storepersons and MR Drivers with warehousing experience. Commencing immediately and working as part of a friendly team, you will be involved in all general day-to-day warehouse operations including (but not limited to): • Picking and packing of orders for trade customers and inter-depot inventory transfers • Deliveries are to business premises and also to residential addresses. You would be assisted with an offsider if required. • Assisting with receiving & putting away of incoming stock • Forklift operation • Ensure that for inwards goods any discrepancies are followed up promptly • For goods outwards, checking to ensure accuracy of picked goods by warehouse staff prior to dispatch • General warehouse and inventory tasks as required To be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills: • Experience in a warehouse role with sound knowledge of the workings of a goods in/goods out distribution business • Good communication skills having regard to interaction with warehouse/office staff and customers • Possess a current forklift license • A current MR licence is required for the MR Driver position Enjoy great work-life balance with working hours of 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
