Position Overview: They are currently seeking a skilled Site Engineer with specialized experience in civil engineering, particularly in projects involving the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of road and bridge projects, demonstrating technical proficiency and strong on-site management capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to facilitate efficient project delivery. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with design and regulatory requirements. Assist in the resolution of technical issues and implementation of engineering solutions on site. Liaise with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) representatives to ensure project compliance and regulatory approvals. Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, work schedules, and as-built drawings. Collaborate with the project team to identify and address any potential risks or challenges impacting project delivery. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering projects, with a focus on roads and bridges. Familiarity with Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) standards, specifications, and procedures. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality control processes, and site management principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, both within Brisbane and away on project sites. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
