Senior Experience Designer — The Rocks, Sydney

You are a UX designer always designing with the user at the forefront We are committed to creating the best digital experience for customers, staff and brokers Together we can provide valuable experiences across digital and assisted channels Do work that matters This role will see you solving important, complex and varied problems across the digital platforms used by our home buying customers, staff and brokers. Your responsibilities will span a range of digital assets and features focussed on the home loan application and settlement experience for our customers. Your design work will be helping more Australians to unlock the dream of property ownership. See yourself in our team Reporting to the Home Buying Experience Design Chapter Lead you will be part of the Digital Experience Chapter, which is responsible for delivering the Customer Experience strategy and vision across all digital touch points for the retail arm of the Bank. This Chapter consists of Experience Designers, UI designers, UX writers and Accessibility Managers who work closely with our partners in digital research to deliver customer driven outcomes. The team has a strong learning and sharing culture where you can improve your skills as a designer. You will be responsible for helping the Home Buying Purchase & Settle Crew achieve business and customer outcomes dependent on great digital experiences. Where will you go? This role can progress to an Experience Design Lead role overseeing a portfolio of products and projects within Digital. On any given week you will Manage several projects autonomously with overview from the Experience Design Lead Work with Experience Designers and Lead to create and implement a cohesive UX strategy for our Home Buying Assist Lead to scope, plan and provide estimates for your projects Use the digital strategy to deliver customer-centric experiences through the creation of decision trees, UI flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes including detailed documentation Using data and exploratory research you'll understand the customer and business drivers behind the products you're designing, to deliver measurable outcomes Manage stakeholders including diverse groups including Product Owners, Dev/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Compliance representatives Work closely with delivery teams to ensure design assets and specifications fit with their requirements, including Product Owners and Dev/Engineering teams, some based remotely We are interested to hear from people who have Expert knowledge of customer centred design balanced with commercial acumen Strong communication skills with demonstrated success presenting design in a clear and persuasive manner Confident cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills Strong problem-solving, conceptual and design skills to drive solutions at all levels of detail across responsive web platforms You are comfortable designing across web, responsive mobile and native apps. An ability to visualise solutions in appropriate ways: e.g. flows, free-hand sketching, white-board facilitation, wire framing and prototyping Experience using customer research, usability testing, behavioural or digital analytics to drive and enhance design optimisation Experience successfully planning and managing UX project delivery within an Agile development framework to agreed timeframes and budgets Mapping detailed end-to-end customer experiences involving multiple touch-points, processes, people and technology to enable the business to make strategic decisions for service improvements Generating customer value propositions, service blueprints, journey maps, strategic roadmaps that are informed and validated by customer research Managing stakeholder expectations, bringing them along the journey, creating compelling buy-in, and presenting final outcomes with impact Please include a portfolio demonstrating UX process, low and high fidelity design skills, outcomes delivered with your application.
