Graphic Designer — Pymble, Ku-ring-gai Area

Do you enjoy using InDesign and Photoshop and want to learn new skills working on proposals? Great team, lovely boss and 1-2-1 training provided Why is this role for you? You've always enjoyed using InDesign and tinkering around to make your work look great. Whether it be submissions, tendering or proposal docs you always like to do your best and make each one as good as the last. You'd love to take the next step in your career and use the skills you know and build on them. Refine them and become more of an expert by using them every day working on marketing materials as well as bid documents. Working within a busy construction company doesn't phase you, you know that challenge will make you a better designer and the fast pace will improve other skills like your time management and working within a team. The team around you is great so you'd settle in fast. In the office area where the marketing team work, it's a sociable team of 9 and your boss has been there 17 years (even doing this role herself at one point) so you’ll get plenty of 1-2-1 training and support. All the staff love the yearly $300 subsidy to put towards their health and fitness hobbies each year and if you enjoy sport, it’s an office of cyclists, runners, swimmers, and footy tipsters so there is always something going on. You may enjoy the quarterly events like axe throwing, meals out and bowling; the team like to bond outside work as well as in it. The office conversation is never dull. It's a diverse bunch and ages range from 17-year-old apprentices to 60 year directors so it covers a wide range of topics Initially, the salary is in the $70-85k super range, there is free parking nearby or they are a stone’s throw away from Pymble station if public transport is your thing.
