We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Team Member to join the team based in North Geelong. Position Overview: As a Warehouse Team Member you will play a critical role in our steel manufacturing and distribution process. Your primary responsibilities will include operating a bandsaw, along with overhead crane for cutting steel materials and safely manoeuvring heavy loads using a forklift. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Operate bandsaw equipment to cut steel materials to precise specifications. Utilize an overhead crane to lift and position steel components. Safely load, unload, and transport steel products using a forklift. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with inventory management, including accurate record-keeping. Qualifications: Proven experience in operating a bandsaw and overhead crane for steel cutting. Valid forklift operator's license and experience in forklift operations. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects. Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
