About the Role: You'll be part of a dynamic team providing support to our client, a male in his 60s with Myotonic Dystrophy. Our client is transitioning to his new home in our beautiful brand new Wynnum apartments and requires assistance with daily activities, personal care, and community access. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing his quality of life. __________________________________________ Available Rosters: We have 2x Casual Positions available on fixed rosters - please be aware that these rosters are set and cannot be altered. Your commitment to the chosen roster is crucial. __________________________________________ Casual 1 21 hours per fortnight Week 1 Sunday 1500 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) Week 2 Saturday 1500 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) Sunday 1500 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) __________________________________________ Casual 2 20 hours per fortnight Week 1 Friday 1500 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) Week 2 Thursday 1600 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) Friday 1500 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) __________________________________________ Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need: Previous experience working with clients with a disability NDIS workers screening check / QLD yellow card - P (Current). QLD blue card - P (WWC) (Current). First aid and CPR certification. Driver's License and Comprehensive Insurance on your vehicle. NDIS Orientation Module (Quality, Safety and You).
