An excellent opportunity is now available for a pro-active, self-motivated individual, who has demonstrated experience in Warehouse operations, RF Scanning and a current forklift licence, to join their team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing all raw materials movements, unloading and loading of goods, recording raw materials against purchase orders, recording returns and allocating stock to printing presses throughout the day. This is a pivotal role in the business, which will suit an experienced storeperson who has excellent mathematical and technological skills, a stable work history and above all, is passionate about their performance and the quality of their work. Knowledge of the printing industry would be an advantage, but is not essential. Benefits: Join a team who’s average tenure is over 10 years Stable Company with an excellent reputation Opportunity for ongoing training, growth and career development Be part of a dynamic and motivated team Duties: Maintain stock locations via physical location and MIS systems and adhere to best practice in raw material warehouse Allocate raw material to presses according to the daily production schedules and purchase orders Scan and re-enter returns back to the correct warehouse locations Gain an understanding of various label surfaces and materials and their purpose Unload trucks, receipt material and move material to appropriate locations Maintain inventory records, and rotate stock to prevent spoilage Assist with stock-take on Raw Materials and finished goods Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimise production processes. Implement and adhere to operational procedures and safety standards Skills and Experience: Cert III in Warehouse Operations desirable Demonstrated experience in receiving processes Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills Understanding of purchase order processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexible pro-active team player, who can make decisions to meet daily business requirements Physically fit and able to lift heavy items correctly A high level of honesty and integrity Well developed work ethic RF Scanning and Forklift Licence and 2 years experience essential High respect for workplace health & safety MUST have full Australian working rights How to apply: All applications are to be submitted online – click APPLY.
