Sales Representative — Sydney CBD, Sydney

We are looking for a Part time Sales Representative who can promote our existing meal range through assisting stores with tastings in store, product knowledge training, innovation of new products and assisting our marketing team in promotions across social media. Job responsibilities: Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of OB Distribution's products, including their features, benefits, and unique selling points. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to effectively communicate product value. Store Collaboration: Work with QE Foodstores in organising product knowledge training and in-store tasting schedules across the OB Distribution meal range. Sales Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Create and execute sales plans that align with OB Distribution's overall business objectives in collaboration with QE Foodstores. Monitor and analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviours. Provide feedback to OB Distribution regarding market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns. Communicate regularly with the product development team to provide insights on customer needs and preferences. Training and Product Education : Train QE Foodstores and other sales channels on OB Distribution's products. Provide ongoing support and education to ensure that sales channels are well-equipped to represent and sell the products effectively. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, detailing achievements, challenges, and future plans. Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make informed decisions. Adaptability and Innovation: Stay adaptable to changes in the market, industry, or company policies. Propose innovative ideas to enhance sales processes and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Have an empathetic and positive attitude towards customers and internal team members A proactive and independent view on achieving goals and understand accountability Experience in customer service and sales Valid Australian Driver’s License Australia Working rights Interested?
