Your new role Your new role will see you reporting to the Engineering Manager, working 8.30 - 5pm. As the key driver of quality engineering outcomes across design improvement for new and existing products you will be a highly valued member within the Engineering team. Your new role will see you; Responsible for providing accurate specs and design to enable over functionality & quality; Engineering and manufacturing liaison with highly valued internal & external stakeholders locally and overseas; Accurate manufacturing drawings and BOM specifications; Carry out pre-delivery check and ADR checklist; Provide engineering support to spare parts and after market services; Create relevant user manuals, & operating instructions; Development, implementation and maintenance of engineering related quality Control & WHS processes, policies and documentation; Working with Engineering based programs like AUTOCAD & SolidWorks consistently; and Provide technical assistance to Sales, Production, Service, Procurement and Service Workshop. What you need to succeed Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or 2 year post TAFE course; Proven experience working with AutoCAD & Solidworks; Ability to communicate with Engineering team in China desirable - ability to read and write in Mandarin; and Manufacturing experience advantageous - automotive industry experience will be viewed as highly valued.
