Urgent requirement of APS6 Senior Workforce IAM Engineer - Contract - Canberra / Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Adelaide Requirements The Senior Workforce IAM Engineer plays an important role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, situated within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of identity and access management solutions tailored to the workforces needs within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. Working closely with stakeholders, the Senior Workforce IAM Engineer ensures that solutions align with security standards, compliance regulations, and the core purpose of the NDIA, displaying a positive attitude towards people with disability. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of identity and access management solutions for the NDIA workforce within the Azure AD (Entra ID) environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Azure AD configurations. Configure and manage identity and access management features, including user provisioning, access controls, and group memberships, ensuring alignment with Identity Lifecycles (JML) processes. Optimize Azure AD configurations for performance, scalability, and reliability to facilitate seamless authentication and authorization processes for the NDIA workforce. Prioritize building automations to reduce manual overhead and streamline identity and access management processes within Azure AD. Essential Skills and Experience Strong experience and expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions. Extensive experience in Entra ID (Azure AD) and Entra ID Governance. Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS. Experience with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell is highly desirable. Experience with solutions, such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Akamai, or equivalent, is highly desirable but not required. Experience with SCIM is desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disability, aligning with the core purpose of the NDIA. Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance. Desirable Criteria Extensive experience with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell is highly desirable. Experience with SCIM is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage workload and priorities. Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disability, aligning with the core purpose of the NDIA.
