Urgent requirement of APS6 Customer PKI Engineer - Contract - Canberra / Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Adelaide Requirements The PKI Engineer plays a crucial role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, situated within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This position is primarily responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The PKI Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that PKI solutions align with security standards, and compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including certificate authorities (CAs), digital certificates, and cryptographic key management Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide input into PKI solution design and architecture. Configure and manage PKI components, such as certificate servers, certificate revocation lists (CRLs), and certificate lifecycle management systems. Assist in troubleshooting PKI-related issues and provide support to resolve incidents and service requests. Contribute to the optimization of PKI solutions for scalability, performance, and security, following industry best practices and organizational guidelines. Essential Skills and Experience Experience or knowledge in supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with PKI concepts, protocols, and standards. Experience in designing or implementing in a Cloud environment such as Azure or AWS. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute effectively to project delivery. Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disability, aligning with the core purpose of the NDIA. Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance Desirable Criteria Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
