Urgent requirement of APS5 Workforce IAM Engineer - Contract - Canberra / Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Adelaide Requirements The Workforce IAM Engineer plays an important role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, located within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This position is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions tailored to the organizations internal workforce within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The Workforce IAM Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure that IAM solutions align with security standards, compliance regulations, and the core purpose of the NDIA, demonstrating a positive attitude towards people with disability. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions for the internal workforce, focusing on user authentication, authorization, and provisioning. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective IAM configurations. Configure and manage IAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices. Optimize IAM solutions for scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. Develop and implement automations to enhance IAM capabilities and streamline administrative tasks. Essential Skills and Experience Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with IAM products and platforms, particularly Entra ID (Azure AD), is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage workload and priorities. Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disability, aligning with the core purpose of the NDIA. Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance. Desirable Criteria Extensive experience with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell is highly desirable.
