Immediate start for a Senior Project Engineer to oversee the final stages of delivery of a major FRP package in Brisbane City CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source a Site based Senior Project Engineer to work on a 6 month contract basis as part of a major infrastructure project. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for duties such as preparing, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Scope is specifically an FRP package so applicants need to be posses a proven background delivering projects with complex Structures. The role is heading towards the later stages of construction so we are looking for an expert Engineer to hit the ground running and close out the remaining scopes of the project, leading a grad and site engineer. It is an immediate requirement until the end of April so applicants need to be ready to start in the next 2 weeks. Selection Criteria: - Minimum 6 years post grad experience - Experience in major FRP packages - Self driven and motivated - Leadership skills - Prior experience with a subcontractor is an advantage Applicants need to be available by Mid may and Engineers on a 417 Working Holiday Visa are also encouraged to apply.
